Today, we talk with our Full Stack Web Developer, Jack, to find out more about his job role at the PxHub and why he does what he does.

What do you do for The People Experience hub?

My role as a developer for The People Experience Hub is to create and manage systems that allow our customers to engage and grow their people experience.

How did you get into doing what you do now?

I’ve always enjoyed problem-solving and that skill translated well into what is now my career. I discovered Adobe Dreamweaver for the first time when I was a teenager, so my interest spiralled from there.

What advice would you give to someone starting in your industry?

You can never explore and learn enough but don’t let that get you down. The internet is a free and rich resource where developers alike at there to help each other. Always ask questions and learn from your errors. Never copy and paste!

If you could ever see one movie again for the rest of your life, what would it be and why

My All-time favourite film and one I’d happily watch for the rest of my life is The Goonies. I recently watched it with my son and we were both laughing still.

If you could have dinner with one celebrity, who would you choose and why?

I would choose to have dinner with Professor Brian Cox, I like listening to things I have no idea about and learning something new. I recently watched him on YouTube explain The Science Behind Don’t Look Up, kind of eye-opening.
